THE 2023 A.C.T. INTL STAFF SONGWRITER RETREAT
THE 2023 A.C.T. INTL STAFF SONGWRITER RETREAT
Hosted by Rob Frazier with a special appearance by Centricity Music staff songwriter Matt Armstrong, this is an opportunity for A.C.T. staffers to get together to hone their songwriting skills, have their completed songs critiqued and best of all, co-write with other songwriters within the A.C.T. family. You’re welcome to bring your own instrument but we’ll have 3 or 4 guitars and a keyboard on hand. A voice recorder on your phone will be handy.
We will present a songwriting seminar but the focus will be on – writing songs together! We will ask you to have at least one song to perform for the group to be critiqued and at least three song ideas to offer for co-writing. All song splits will be assumed to be equal.
The cost is $179 per person which includes two nights lodging double or triple occupancy in a comfortable lodge (everyone gets their own bed and couples have a private room), six meals and camp activities such as canoeing, a hayride and bonfire. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.
Space is limited so reserve your spot now with a $75 non‐refundable
deposit. Balance is due upon arrival.
We will attempt to assist with ground transportation from the Nashville
airport and possibly free Sunday night private lodging (both with prior
arrangement) if you need to fly out on Monday.
